I have over 12 years of professional experience in academia and legal practice, currently working as a senior lecturer in law at Middlesex University London. My legal practice experience includes working as a junior associate at Dr. Hamid and Associates, a law firm in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Additionally, I have worked as a research assistant for the Bangladesh War Crimes Tribunal Blog and a junior research fellow for the Centre for Genocide Studies in Bangladesh. Susan Banki studies the political, institutional, and social contexts that explain the roots of and solutions to human rights violations and social justice abuses.
