Technical notice for EIN members due to recent search engine issues
We are pleased to let EIN members know that the technical problems with searching following last weekend's major upgrade of the search engine have now been resolved.
The search bias function and advanced search features should now all be fully functioning again.
If you noticed any odd relevance ranking of your search results last week, this should also be resolved.
Members may wish to note that the EIN search engine now accepts wildcard characters following the upgrade (use ? for a single character and * for multiple characters).
We have also recently updated our help guides for searching. Please take a look if you would like to learn more about the advanced syntax supported by the EIN search engine.
For any technically-minded EIN members, we are now running the very latest version of Apache Solr, version 8.4.1.
