I am a licensed attorney in India and New York. For 13 years I have conducted academic and professional research on LGBT+ rights, women’s rights, and religious and cultural rights in India. My research on LGBT+ rights has been cited by the Indian Supreme Court. I regularly write articles and book chapters on the same in academic journals and edited collections. I have also conduced socio-legal research on LGBT+ rights, worked in charities in India, and in the Indian Supreme Court.
