The No Accommodation Network (NACCOM) today launched its new strategy for the next four years. You can download the 10-page strategy document here.

Report coverNACCOM is a network of member projects across the UK that provide accommodation and support to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants with no recourse to public funds (NRPF) who face destitution.

As today's strategy document explains, NACCOM's central vision is for the UK to have a fair, just and humane asylum and immigration system, which enables people seeking asylum, refugees and other migrants to be free from destitution and to live with dignity and agency.

NACCOM exists to promote solidarity, connections and good practice to assist the establishment and delivery of accommodation and support projects working with people facing destitution.

Over 130 organisations are members of NACCOM.

In recent years, NACCOM members accommodated around 3,000 people each year (see NACCOM's most recent impact report for details).

"Through policy and practice we want to ensure that barriers to accessing support to end destitution are removed, and through research, policy, campaigning, practice and partnerships we want to prevent people experiencing destitution in the first place," NACCOM said in its new strategy today.
