Our OISC/IAA Level 2 Training involves a comprehensive look at intermediate to advanced UK immigration law, including the following topics:
- The scope of Level 2 accreditation
- The OISC/IAA Level 2 competence assessment
- The Immigration Rules and Leave outside the Rules
- The European Convention on Human Rights and the European Court of Human Rights.
- Article 8 case law
- Asylum, Refugee status and Humanitarian Protection status - procedure and case law
- British citizenship and statelessness
- Immigration offences and civil penalties
- Rights of challenge and appeals to the First-Tier Tribunal (IAC)
- Detention and Bail
- We shall also go through a past OISC/IAA Level 2 exam paper.
Our course delegates are provided with an opportunity, on the day, to practise past OISC Level 2 exam questions to hone their technique and knowledge.
OISC/IAA Level 2 Handbook
All delegates receive an up-to-date handbook, emailed before the course begins and which presents structured learning content to help delegates learn the IAA syllabus content and develop their understanding of immigration law. Our handbook is updated before each course, to ensure delegates receive the most up-to-date learning.
Who teaches the OISC/IAA Level 2 Course?
Our immigration law tutors are experienced OISC-accredited advisers and have been working in the immigration field for many years. They are knowledgeable in their field and teach OISC delegates the information required in order to pass the OISC exam.
Where does the OISC/IAA Course take place?
The Level 2 course takes place online and we use Zoom.
How long is the OISC/IAA Level 2 Course?
The OISC/IAA Level 2 Training lasts for a full day, beginning at 9.30am and ending around 5.00pm. There are short breaks in the morning and afternoon, along with a longer lunch break.
