The course is aimed at those with little or no advocacy skills and also those who want to improve their drafting for appeals (especially drafting witness statements) with a focus on the "issues-based" approach set out in the new Practice Direction and following the Upper Tribunal decision of . Lata (FtT: principal controversial issues) India [2023] UKUT 163 (IAC).
Objectives: By the end of the training, delegates will be equipped with the tools to present appeals on behalf of their clients, with an improved understanding and added confidence.
