£109.00 - £319.00

We invite you to attend the annual ILPA Sponsor Licence Law Conference, hosted this year as a hybrid event!

This year has seen the roll out of some of the most significant changes since sponsorship began leaving sponsors, and those who advise them, with a raft of new measures to contend with. From the complexities surrounding the increases to the general salary thresholds and transitional arrangements to a new Immigration Salary List, sponsorship law can never be described as dull!

ILPA's annual Sponsorship Law conference will take a critical look at all the latest developments and offer a forum to collect and discuss ideas and experiences of advising on sponsorship law and practice.

We have an excellent array of speakers from the Home Office and a number of leading UK immigration practices. Our conference chairs are Nichola Carter of Carter Thomas Solicitors and Nicolette Bostock of Withers LLP.

Topics will range from practical tips on sponsor licence and compliance law to in-depth analysis of the various legal issues relating to those who are sponsored. There will be a detailed examination of the current system of sponsorship as it relates to businesses, consultants, business owners, domestic workers, charities and religious, sports and education organisations plus a look at alternative options and international trade agreements. The speakers will provide highly practical insight and tips from their extensive experience.

ILPA's Sponsorship Law conference provides a space for immigration experts across the UK to share experiences and tips on dealing with this complex area of law.

The full agenda and list of speakers will be announced shortly.

A reminder that pupil barristers and trainee solicitors who are ILPA members and Category A members* (Law Centres, Local Citizens' Advice Bureaux and not-for-profits) are entitled to the concessionary training price.
