Description
Gabriella Bettiga will deliver an intensive 6-hour 1 day course on Tuesday 12th September 2023 (10am-5pm), on Zoom. Designed to help candidates prepare for the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme Casework Assistant and Senior Caseworker examinations.
We will look at the main elements of the exam syllabus, including the law and procedures relating to:
- Legal aid
- Asylum
- Human rights
- Trafficking
- Detention and Bail
- Remedies
- Ethics
- Deportation
- Domestic Abuse
We will consider relevant materials and sources of law, practical exam tips and techniques, the use of advanced materials, and drafting. In the second part of the course, we will go through a sample paper. Those attending the course will be able to prepare for their exam with confidence.
Materials will be provided in digital format prior to the course commencement.
