HJT | EU Settlement Scheme

This training course will be delivered by HJT Trainer Sandra Akinbolu, Lamb Building.

The UK’s vote to leave the EU on 23 June 2016 has not yet brought about any changes to the UK’s current membership of the EU. Nonetheless, the UK has brought into force rules to provide for the transition of status for those exercising rights under the EU Treaties.

Since Appendix EU became effective on 28 August 2018, it has already been amended 3 times, and currently runs alongside the EEA Regulations.

This course will explore the EU procedures, benefits and pitfalls of applying for status under those Rules. A set of training materials will be provided to each attendee.
