Webinar - An introduction to mobility from the EU to the UK for artists and cultural professionals.

Please note that this event will start at 14:00 UK time and 15:00 CET

Arts Infopoint UK in partnership with Latitude Law present this free webinar session to learn about the different visa options available to artists and creative professionals visiting the UK temporarily for short term work, engagements, and cultural opportunities.

The session will be applicable to all international artists visiting the UK – but will have a focus on giving an overview to EU and EEA based organisations and individuals in the cultural and creative sectors. Our aim is to help you understand the changes that have come into effect following the UK's exit of the EU.

Gary McIndoe and Shara Pledger at Latitude Law are immigration solicitors and will give an overview of the different visa routes, presenting case studies to help you understand which option would be applicable to you. These visa routes include:

• Visitor route

• Permitted paid engagements and permit-free festivals

• Tier 5 short-term sponsored work route for the creative sector

To provide further insight and perspective, we will be joined by a panel of arts sector professionals with experience of managing mobility issues, who can offer practical insight into the process.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions as part of the webinar. Upon registration, you will be able to input specific questions ahead of the event.

Please note, this session won't cover information on transporting equipment, artwork and merchandise – but this will be covered in a future event to be announced soon.

Automatic captioning will be available during the event. You may also list additional accessibility requirements upon registration.
