This course will address complex legal and practical issues arising in the context of retained EU law and the EU Settlement Scheme. The course aims to equip practitioners with an understanding of how to deal with these issues in their cases.
Topics will include:
• Zambrano carers (latest caselaw)
• Other derivative rights
• Surinder Singh
• Durable partners
• Extended family members with outstanding appeals/ applications
• Suitability and deportation
This course will not cover content covered in WEB 1137 EUSS Update course run in December 2021.
