Thursday 03 March 2022 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
A basic to intermediate level course aimed at those who do not yet feel confident with sponsorship and business immigration. We will take a closer look at the requirements for employers and workers, and how the sponsorship system impacts them now and in the new post-Brexit system.
Topics:
• Skilled Worker vs Tier 2 sponsorship, and the requirements for employers and workers;
• specific issues such as advertising, new overseas hires, salary points scoring, and applications to the Home Office (eg priority for licences and Defined CoS allocations);
• the impact of the new rules – what's simpler, and what hidden issues may arise, and;
• alternative immigration routes for those avoiding the sponsorship scheme.
A reminder that pupil barristers and trainee solicitors who are ILPA members and Category A members (Law Centres, Local Citizens' Advice Bureaux and not-for-profits) are entitled to the concessionary training price (50% off the members' training price). If you're booking via email please remember to let us know if this applies to you.
