The general EUSS application deadline of 30 June 2021 is imminent. To assist practitioners with last-minute instructions and complex cases in this category, we aim to provide clarity by addressing:

1. EUSS basics refresher 
2. Lack of supporting documents before the deadline 
3. Immigration status after the grace period
4. Late applications, reasonable grounds and the effect on immigration status 
5. Suitability and triggering enforcement action – evaluating the merits of making an application 
6. Q&A

To allow for an extended Q&A, the substantive points will be addressed in outline only. To ensure delegates benefit more fully from the course, course slides will be sent out at least 48 hours before the presentation, and HJT recommend that delegates read through them to assist in formulating questions which are not therein answered. We would encourage delegates to please send in their questions and scenarios in good time.
