Julian Bild will deliver an intensive 6-hour course over 2 days on Monday 5th September 2022 (10am-1pm) & Wednesday 7th September 2022 (10am-1pm), on Zoom. Designed to help candidates prepare for the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme Casework Assistant and Senior Caseworker examinations.
We will look at the main elements of the exam syllabus, including the law and procedures relating to:
- Legal aid
- Asylum
- Human rights
- Trafficking
- Detention and Bail
- Remedies
- Ethics
- Deportation
- Domestic Abuse
We will consider relevant materials and sources of law, practical exam tips and techniques, the use of advanced materials, and drafting. In the second part of the course, we will go through a sample paper. Those attending the course will be able to prepare for their exam with confidence.
Julian Bild is an experienced solicitor and trainer. He also writes and marks exams for the OISC and Law Society.
