Since 2001 the Expert has pursued professional career with many international organizations during and after the dissolution of former Yugoslavia. Among them are:

- Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE);
- United Nations Development Programme (UNDP);
- United Nations Human Rights Office of High Commissioner (OHCRC);
- United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF);
- United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA);
- United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee (UNHCR);
-United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women).

Positions held by the Expert in international NGO sector were:
- Municipal Integrity Monitor;
- Municipal Program Coordinator;

- Training/Language Assistant;
- Field Assistant.

Throughout his roles, the Expert has focused on:
- Integration of minorities in state institutions;
- Building mutual trust among communities after an armed conflict;
- Democratization of state institutions;
- Aligning the police service with international standards;
- Supporting development of strategic plans for minorities;
- Coordinating efforts to tackle Gender Based Violence;
- Monitoring institutions in the fight against corruption;
- Defending the rights of refugees, migrants and asylum seekers using the Balkan route;
§ Empowering minorities (Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian) for social inclusion.
