Westkin Associates is a boutique OISC regulated immigration consultancy created by a former barrister to provide world class levels of legal advice to a select group of clients in all aspects of immigration.
We cover all aspects of business and personal immigration, points based and sponsorship work, entry clearance, leave to remain and appeals.
Young, but ambitious, Westkin has focused on delivering advice to privately paying clients across all aspects of immigration and has stayed small intentionally.
Based in the West End of Central London, we have now decided to expand.
We are only interested in the most capable, committed, commercially aware, hardworking and exceptionally talented individuals to join us. Experience is less crucial than raw talent, desire to succeed and ability to take responsibility. We understand that candidates may not have experience in all areas of the immigration work that we do. Willingness to learn and proven track record of excellence will suffice.
The role of Immigration Caseworker occupies a vital place within our growing team, involving the following responsibilities:
· Preparation of Immigration Applications; including significant levels of client contact;
· Remaining aware of all relevant rules, policies and best practice affecting all aspects of immigration;
· Hitting specific billing targets, with modern IT systems in place for achieving them and generous, transparent bonuses for exceeding targets.
· To help manage and be responsible for one’s own casework, advice to clients and general service delivery, ensuring that the highest standards are consistently met.
· If desired, taking an active role in business development, and ensuring that agreed revenue targets are exceeded.
· Helping devise and implement appropriate internal systems, policies and procedures, and adhering to these at all times.
· Helping ensure adherence to OISC Rules and Codes.
Requirements
· Applicants must hold level 1 OISC / LSC accreditation or better or be actively working towards the same.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Keen observation and attention to detail, common sense, confidence and decisiveness.
· A practical, positive approach; the ability to use initiative and find solutions. • Ability to take full “ownership” of tasks, and to plan, control and manage a project from start to finish.
· Ability to meet deadlines, manage time effectively, in a pressurised environment, and effectively prioritise tasks. This is a great opportunity for a person with significant similar industry experience, who feels they have more to give, or feels that their standards are higher than those around them.
· The role, and the environment, offer scope for the right person to make a real contribution to the company’s success, and be rewarded accordingly. There are real prospects for growth and advancement for the right individual.
· Commercial awareness, and a flair for business development, account management, and relationship-building.
· Westkin Associates is based within a premium serviced office building in Marble Arch London, walking distance from four Tube lines and multiple bus and rail connections.
If you feel that you meet the requirements above, and could make a real contribution in this role, please apply by emailing us at recruitment@westkin.com with a covering letter clearly outlining the reasons for your suitability.
