With more and more complex rules and cases on detention issues and detention being used increasingly widely and for longer periods, this skills course is essential for practitioners wanting to hone their skills and refresh preparation and presentation of bail applications and unlawful detention claims. The trainer will look both at normal relatively short term detention and also at long term cases and how to argue lawfulness in a bail application.
