This workshop looks at drafting a statement in support of an application to the UKBA.

A statement will often form the centrepiece of an application. It provides an opportunity for you to help your client put the facts of their case in the most persuasive way. We will practise drafting a statement of the type assessed at OISC Level 2. We will consider:

•  Purpose and scope of the statement
• Formalities
• Structure
• Style
• Process
